low budget light meter (exposure for video)?
I want if possible on ebay or amazon to find a good light meter for video production (documentary or interview with 3CCD camera) something under £50 that's easy to use and is just basic is it necessary for a digital video camera? spread the knowledge pls and if you need any help with laptops email me on enquiries@cheaptofix.co.uk
If you can pick up a Sekonic, they made the Director, but other models are good, some do not use batteries.Within your budget you may also find a Gossen,I use the Lunasix but the Profisix is good too. However these use old style batteries but you should be able to get them easily.
Jessops produced their own model and some of the Russian ones work well in bright light but as with all of these check the low light useability if you work in those conditions. The old Weston meters still give good use but were rather delicate.
