why is our electricity meter beeping and flashing?
We just had a very brief power cut, a second or so, and the electricity meter started beeping and a red light is flashing.
Now however it stopped beeping but is still flashing.
Is this just the meter resetting or something after the brief power cut or is it something serious which must be dealt with?
If it makes any difference, the meter is from British Gas.
